Here are some of the most common questions asked by our customers about implementation.
What’s the average timeline for implementation?
It depends on the content area(s) that will be a part of your bot’s brain and the channels on which you decide to deploy your bot. Your project manager will go through your timeline in detail during your Kick-Off Call.
When do we need to decide on channels?
We ask that you indicate what channels you are interested in prior to the Kick-Off Call, but we can launch your desired channels at any point in time during implementation or post-implementation.
Is the content in separate bot brains kept separate, or can it be shared?
With IvyQuantum™'s shared brain feature, your bot can access content across bot brains when chatting with your users. Our shared brain feature allows you to share the brain bidirectionally and omnidirectionally, so that there is more control regarding what knowledge each brain has access to.
Will I have to update my chatbot each time my organization’s web pages change?
No! Our re-crawl feature will automatically re-crawl your web pages and knowledge sources. The user will only need to update their web pages, and the re-crawl will keep the chatbot up to date. Specified Admins will also receive an email anytime the bot is re-crawled to let you know that a re-crawl took place as well as what information was updated.
Is there a maximum number of chatbot brains we can have?
No! There is no limit to the number of bot brains you can have.
What are our responsibilities and time commitment during implementation?
To start off the project, your Ivy Account Executive and your Ivy Project Manager will have an internal meeting to review your project scope. Your Ivy Project Manager will email you to set up a Kick Off Call with both your Project Manager and your Partner Success Manager. During your Kick Off Call, your Ivy Project Manager will review your project timeline, covering the other meetings and trainings that will be held throughout your implementation process.
Who should attend meetings?
Ensure that all project leads, subject matter experts, and administrators are present for the Kick-Off Call. Your project manager will discuss the required attendees for meetings/trainings that will happen during the initial implementation.
