IvyQuantum is extremely powerful, but when used improperly, it can behave in undesirable ways. Here's some tips to optimize your bot.
Before submitting test questions to your bot, you should keep in mind that it has certain limitations that will influence how you should ask questions. Here’s what you should keep in mind.
Unrelated Content
The initial build of your bot will only have knowledge about content on the crawled pages. Questions asked should be related to the content found on your webpages.
Too Much Content
If you have multiple departments within one bot brain, your users may not get the answers they are looking for. For example, a bot that covers admissions, financial aid, and study abroad programs might hold too much content in a single place. If this bot is launched on the school’s study abroad page and a visiting student says “How do I apply?” it is likely that, because they are on the study abroad page, they are asking about study abroad, but there is no way to know for sure. The bot could respond with admissions information, not study abroad, and the user would not receive the answer they were looking for. In this case, you and your Project Manager should discuss separating the departments into their own bot brains.
