As part of the implementation process, your Ivy.ai Project Manager will setup your bot with your colors and logo.
Customization Preferences Form
Following your Kick Off Call, your team will submit a Customization Preferences Form. This form allows you to designate your initial preferences for customizing the appearance of your chatbot, from its name and specific colors to the image/avatar your organization opts to use. You will also specify the contact information that will be displayed at the end of each of your bot’s chat conversations. Your Project Manager will provide you with access to the Customization Preferences Form. After implementation, you can modify your chatbot’s name, avatar, colors, and other settings within Admin Portal.
Branding Your Chatbot
Selecting Your Avatar
In this process, you will select your chatbot’s image. This will be displayed in the chat window alongside your bot’s responses. Your avatar can be your organization’s mascot, organization’s logo, or something entirely new.
You’ll also need to name your chatbot. Will it be the same name as your organization’s mascot (i.e. Panther Bot) or the name of the department your bot supports (i.e. Finance Bot)? Consider the scope of your chatbot - if your bot is supporting the entire organization or you anticipate scaling over time to have your bot support the enterprise, you’ll want to select a name that is inclusive of the entire enterprise.
Determining Your Bot’s Personality
Your chatbot should be representative of your organization - including its personality. Some of our partners opt for a humorous bot by sprinkling jokes into bot responses, while others feel that a more serious bot is better suited for their users.
Your location can play a role too. Are you in the South? Try adding a “y’all” into your bot’s vocabulary, such as “Howdy y’all, I’m your new chatbot. How may I help you today?” Or maybe you’re in the New England area - let your customers know where they can get a great bowl of chowdah nearby!
