Learning how to use the different testing options within Ivy is critical to ensuring a thorough testing experience and a smooth launch.
How to Submit Bot Questions
Ivy provides you with an internal sandbox and a Testing Sandbox to ask test questions to your bot. The sandbox is a great way to test complex responses and to trace where responses are being pulled from your knowledge sources. To access your sandbox, you can click the bot icon (your bot's logo) in the bottom left corner of the portal.
Sandbox:
Your Testing Simulator (screenshot below) will simulate how your bot will look and behave when it is installed on your website. You will also be able to access your conversations with the Testing Simulator in your Inbox, so you can edit responses if necessary.
Follow the steps below to submit questions to your bot:
- Open up the Testing Simulator.
- Begin asking your Chatbot questions.
- Click the corresponding rating based on the answer.
- If the answer was correct, click the thumbs up.
- If the answer is incorrect or needs improvement, click the thumbs down.
- Repeat these steps as needed.
